The Department of Administrative Sciences at Metropolitan College is looking to fill one or more faculty positions at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor, starting Summer or Fall of 2011.  Successful candidates will hold a Ph.D or DBA in a management-related field, have experience in teaching working adults, significant applied business experience, and a proven track record in research and peer-review publications.

Areas of expertise sought include Business Continuity and Risk Management, along with other areas.  The department has a successful online MS in Business Continuity, Risk, and Emergency Management, and is particularly looking for faculty with an interest in developing this program.

Duties include teaching six graduate/undergraduate courses per year in classroom and online settings, participating in curriculum and program development, mentoring part-time faculty and in the administration of the Department, College, and University.  See www.bu.edu/met and www.adminsc.com for a description of the Department and programs.
